About Small Church Communities

“Source and Summit”, our Small Church Communities (SCC’s) program, forms the foundation of St Paul the Apostle Parish for the ministry’s members. The purpose for every group is to prepare for the Source & Summit of the Catholic faith, the Sunday Eucharist. Small Church sessions meet every week or every other week in the Church and each SCC contains 6-14 members. Group facilitators are provided with the coming week’s Sunday Gospel and suggested prayers and discussion questions. Every group has access to an endless supply of catechetical materials as well. Groups are free to choose their own format and SCC members are encouraged to attend often but there is no attendance requirement. Communities meet in parishioners’ homes and in rooms at the church and parish office. There is no cost to attend.  Form your own group or join an existing group.

  • Friday 9:30 AM Women’s group meets in church LL Rm 1 biweekly.
  • Sunday 6:30 PM: Mixed group meet at a parishioner’s home biweekly
  • Sunday 7 PM: Mixed group meet at a parishioner’s home biweekly
  • Sunday 7 PM: Couples meet at a parishioner’s home biweekly
  • Monday 10:00 AM: Women’s group meets in St Peter Room, weekly
  • Monday 1:00 PM: Retired mixed group meets at clubhouse, weekly 
  • Monday 7:00 PM: Mixed group meets at parishioner’s home, weekly
  • Monday 7:00 PM: Mixed group meets at parishioner’s home, weekly
  • Monday 7:00 PM: Mixed group meets at parishioner’s home, 1 & 3 Mondays
  • Tuesday 9:30 AM: Women’s group meets in St Peter Room, weekly
  • Tuesday 12:30 PM: Mixed group meets at the church, weekly
  • Tuesday 7:00 PM: Mixed group meets parishioner’s home, once/month
  • Tuesday 7:00 PM: Mixed group meets at church LL Rm 4, 1 & 3 Tuesdays
  • Wednesday 9:30 AM: Women’s group meets at church LL Rm 2, weekly
  • Wednesday 1:30 PM: Mixed group meets at parishioner’s home, biweekly
  • Wednesday 6:45 PM: Mixed group meets at parishioner’s home, biweekly 
  • Wednesday 7:00 PM: Mixed group meets at church, biweekly
  • Thursday 4:00 PM Women’s group meets in church parlor, biweekly
  • Thursday 7:00 PM Mixed group meets in church LL Rm 1 intermittently
  • Thursday 7:00 PM Mixed group meets in church LL Rm 4 weekly.
