Saint Paul the Apostle Respect Life Ministry

Our mission is to build a culture of life at Saint Paul that involves concern and protection of human life — from the womb to the tomb.  Currently, we provide awareness of the civil rights issue of our day:  namely, abortion.  We do this through prayer and witness at abortion clinics in Columbus twice a year during the spring and fall 40 Days for Life campaigns.  The patron saint of our ministry is Saint Gianna Molla.  Learn more about Saint Gianna here.

    Project Rachel provides post abortion reconciliation and spiritual healing. a professional counselor, specially trained in this field, will assist participants, individually and confidentially, with unresolved feelings and conflicts in a healthy and healing manner. If the participant wishes, a referral to a priest for the Sacrament of Reconciliation is available.

    Option Line, which Heartbeat International powers is the largest network of pro-life pregnancy centers, medical clinics, and maternity homes.  Option Line is a 24/7 bilingual pregnancy hotline that connects those with pregnancy-related questions to a pro-life consultant who can help to calm their fears and then connect them to the nearest pregnancy center. Option Line is also connected to the Abortion Pill Rescue Network, so callers who contact Option Line and are seeking to reverse their chemical abortion can be connected directly to a nurse to get started with the Abortion Pill Reversal process.
